Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty
At labdiamondforever, we have made it our commitment to sell high-quality jewelry and lab-grown diamonds to our customers. We warrant that all jewelry purchased from our website will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery and that the optical properties of the lab grown diamonds will never fade or cloud over time.
Our diamonds and jewelry are manufactured to the highest standards and use the highest quality materials. Each item is carefully inspected at our factory and our distribution facility prior to shipment.
We offer a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty to all of our customers, regardless of the price and type of item. The Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty is effective from the date of purchase, only for Grown Brilliance purchases, and it is non-transferrable. Although we stand behind our product, we do exclude the following defects from the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty:
- General wear and tear, scratching, trauma, loss of center stones, product loss, theft, or improper cleaning and storage.
- Fading or discoloration of metals over time due to inadequate care (Examples: wearing it in the hot tub or swimming pool, spraying perfume or other chemicals directly on the jewelry, etc.)
- Precious metals, and especially prongs, wear down over time as part of normal use. Thinning of prongs due to regular wear might cause them to open up and the stone could be at risk of falling out. This is not considered a manufacturing defect.
- The loss of a stone caused by trauma or damage is not covered under the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty. Your warranty will be voided if repairs or services are performed on your jewelry by any third-party retailer or service company that is not affiliated with Grown Brilliance or administered by Extend for Protection Plans sold by Grown Brilliance.
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please email us with your order number, clear images and/or videos of the jewelry with the area of concern, and any helpful details about how or when the issue was noticed. Our team will review the images and/or videos and information provided, to assess whether the repair may fall under our manufacturing warranty.
If we determine your jewelry is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will provide a prepaid insured shipping label and necessary paperwork so you can send the jewelry to us for repair at no cost to you. labdiamondforever covers all shipping costs for warrantied repairs under the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty.
If we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will send you an estimate for the repair. Upon your approval and payment, we will then provide the instructions, paperwork, and a prepaid insured shipping label for your item to be sent in for service Once received, we will inspect the jewelry to determine if damage is covered by our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty. If it is covered, we will complete the work or, at our discretion, replace the item without charge and ship it back to you. If the damage is not covered by our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty, we will email you a price quote before the work is performed. If you approve the quote, we will collect payment for the repair and shipping. We will then proceed with the needed repair and once it’s completed in 1-3 weeks, we will ship the item back to you in a new jewelry box. (Please note: We send your product back in a new box, we do not return the box you used in your return.)
We recommend that you insure your jewelry for loss, theft, catastrophic damage, or damage to your center stone. Examples of damage to center stones may include chipping, cracking, or breaking. While diamonds are very durable, they are not indestructible, and normal wear and tear, especially on rings, can cause damage.
To take advantage of our Warranty Services, contact Customer Service. Repairs Sometimes due to regular wear and tear, your jewelry will need to be repaired and maintained. These services are available at our US facility, and we will be happy to help. Since our customers are very important to us, we will always do our best to keep the repair costs low, at the same time ensuring the integrity of the piece. Remember, repairs or services performed on your jewelry by any third-party retailer or service company that is not affiliated with Grown Brilliance or administered by Extend for Protection Plans sold by Grown Brilliance will void your warranty with us. Some common types of repairs we offer are replacing side stones, tightening prongs, re-polishing, re-plating rhodium, or a thorough cleaning. For orders shipped internationally, we cannot offer ring resizing since taxes are levied every time a jewelry item crosses the border. If you have any questions regarding Grown Brilliance’s return policy, please do not hesitate to contact a Grown Brilliance customer service representative. Free Ring Sizing
If you order a ring and love it, but didn’t quite get the ring size right, don’t worry! We’ll be happy to resize your ring one time for FREE within 30 days after your order ships for U.S. orders. It’s simple: Ship the ring to us and we’ll ship it back. If we determine that we are unable to size the ring up or down to the new size, we will inform you and give you an option to either place a special order for the size required or have it shipped back to you as it is. Please note, eternity-style rings will need to be re-made in the correct ring size, which we offer one-time only within 30 days of when your order ships.
Additionally, we will be happy to resize your ring for US orders, excluding all eternity-style rings for an additional fee. Please note, that we will resize rings as long as we can maintain the integrity of the ring. If a ring is resized too many times, it may not be able to be resized again. At that point, you may opt for a new setting or other repairs at an additional charge in order to get the ring to fit.
If you would like to take advantage of ring resizing, just contact Customer Service. Due to the duties and taxes imposed during importation, we are unable to provide ring resizing services for international orders. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Extend Product Protection
Your jewelry is a celebration of you, so make sure you’re protected. Extend Product Protection covers defects and accidental breakage not included with your manufacturer’s warranty such as chipped or cracked stones, bent or broken clasps, and even the loss of a center or side diamond or gemstone. If your jewelry breaks, Extend will repair it without a deductible. And if they can’t repair it, they’ll replace it.
With your Extend Product Protection you can also enjoy refinishing, repolishing, and rhodium plating and ring resizing after our initial resizing policy (beginning 60 days after your purchase). Depending on the jewelry type and price, you can choose the coverage that works best for you, from 1 year to lifetime coverage.
